My story
From Le Marche to more than 40 countries
I grew up in Le Marche, in central Italy, and I have been travelling since 2008. Along the way I lived for eight years in London and for a year in Melbourne, and today I’m based in Milan with my wife MK — my travel partner on almost every trip you’ll read about here.
Travel has taken us from skydiving over Australia to overwater bungalows in French Polynesia, from the colonial streets of Cuba to the deserts of Jordan and Morocco. I started this blog to share the real itineraries behind those trips: the routes we drove, the places we slept, the food we loved and the mistakes worth avoiding.
Today travel is also my job. As general manager of an Italian tour operator, I design journeys for other people every day — and that is the experience I bring to every trip I plan for my readers.
